Importing new members is done through your Abenity Back Office.
To do so, you'll need to login and download the Sample CSV File available at https://backoffice.abenity.com/account/members/import.
It's important that you don't delete any columns when filling out this file with your new member's information. The document's format is specifically designed and our system will not be able to do the import if the format is changed.
The following columns of information are required to open new member accounts:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Offer Radius
- Monthly Email Opt In
- Privilege Level
More Details about this Required Information:
Username: This must be unique username for each new member. It's often best to make this the same as the new member's email address.
Email Opt-in: We currently send two emails each month - a general email with the important offers for the month and a travel and entertainment email. Type a number 1 if the member wants to receive our monthly emails. If the member does not want to receive the emails, please type a number 0.
Privilege Level: For new account administrators, please type a number 5. Type a number 1 for all other new members. Type a number 0 to deactivate a member.
Offer Radius: We show members local offers within a certain amount of miles within the zip code (e.g. 10,20,30 or 40). Enter one of these numbers to set this initial radius. Once your members login, they can adjust their zip code and this radius to their personal preferences.
